Our story

Keeping old Florida alive

No gimmicks. No pretending. Just a place where you can slow down and feel like you’ve been coming here forever.

“There was never a grand plan to be the trendiest spot in town. We just wanted to create the kind of old Florida watering hole we’d want to spend an afternoon in.”

The Cheeky Tiki story

A little hideaway that grew up

Cheeky Tiki sits right on the Tamiami Trail in East Naples. It’s the kind of place you find when you’re over the same old same: cold drinks, good food and big tiki energy, without the drive to the Keys.

In the summer of 2026, when most of Naples slows down, Cheeky Tiki ramped up. New shell went down, a bigger deck went in and a brand-new tiki hut rose overhead, hand-built beam by beam by Seminole craftsmen. Same Cheeky Tiki. Bigger vibe.

A lot of what’s here came straight from the people who hang out here. Every suggestion and every comment got read, and plenty of them turned into the place you see today.

Old Florida inspiration

Meet Lola

Roadside postcards, hand-painted mile markers, swamp buggies and a pin-up named Lola. Old Florida isn’t a theme here. It’s the whole point.

Good cookin’

Made right here.

Old Florida, made from scratch and worth coming back for. We’ll even handle the clean-up.

  • Hand-breaded tenders

Brined, battered and fried right here. No frozen tenders coming out of a box.

  • House-made crab cakes

Blue crab, tartar, dill and charred lemon. On the starters list or as a three-cake dinner.

  • 6-hour BBQ pork

Slow-cooked, piled with purple cabbage slaw and crispy onion straws.

  • The Everglades shake

Locals know: a little Everglades Seasoning and a squeeze of lemon on the peel & eat shrimp.

Community

Your favorite neighborhood spot

Families on a Sunday. Regulars on a Friday night. Dogs on the deck. When Naples celebrated 250 years of America, Cheeky Tiki rolled through the parade on the Loose Goose swamp buggy, tossing candy to the kids.

That’s the whole idea: a place that feels like the neighborhood, because it is.
